Villa close to £65m move for Chelsea's Jackson
Aston Villa is nearing an agreement to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson for up to £65 million, which includes an initial £47.5 million and £17.5 million in add-ons. The deal, pending personal terms, may trigger the departure of England's Ollie Watkins to Saudi Arabia. Jackson, who previously played under Villa's manager Unai Emery at Villarreal, has scored 30 goals in 81 appearances since joining Chelsea. This transfer is part of a larger Villa rebuild as they have seen multiple key players leave, including Morgan Rogers and Ezri Konsa.
